There has, and still is, much confusion about the PATTERSON (Paterson: Pattison, Patteson, and other derivatives) CLAN and its origins!  And this is aimed at setting all the controversy to rest!   First of all, so as to lay down the utmost basic fact

I became interested in family history in 1989 ; and when visiting my mother in hospital in 1991, I met a Medium(Clairvoyant) in the bed opposite! A subsequent meeting with her, and a Sitting for one hour, the content of which was put on tape, I decided that if there was anything in Mediumship, the only way to prove this beyond doubt was through the family history records!
